Reverse description Central fire altar with two attendants flanking, rendered in the traditional Sasanian manner derived from Khusro II-type prototypes. The altar is depicted in schematic form with stepped base, and the attendant figures stand in profile on either side. The entire composition is enclosed within concentric beaded borders. Marginal legends in Pahlavi script appear in the outer field, with Arabic additions typical of Arab-Sasanian issues of the early Umayyad period.
