| Beschrijving voorzijde | Janiform double head depicted in high relief: the left head faces front with schematic facial features, while the right head faces right in profile with a bearded visage. Both heads share a common neck and are surmounted by a plain polos or helmet with a striated dome. The juxtaposition of frontal and profile views is characteristic of Eastern Mediterranean artistic influence on Philistian coinage of the Persian period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A fantastical winged quadruped seated to the right, its body resembling a lion and its head horned and leonine in character, with the wing terminating in a bull's head. The creature raises its left forepaw. The entire design is contained within a dotted square border set within a shallow incuse square, a compositional framework typical of Persian-period Philistian silver coinage. |
