| Reverse description | A tripod lebes depicted facing, with a rounded cauldron body supported on three splayed legs terminating in animal-paw feet, and flanked by two upright lateral handles rendered as slender rods extending to either side. Atop the cauldron sits a small circular ring or wreath ornament. The type is characteristic of Cretan civic coinage of the 4th century BC, rendered in bold, schematic relief against a plain field with no inscription. |
