Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style, wearing a crested Macedonian-type helmet with a prominent bowl and a flowing plume extending to the rear. The facial features are finely modeled with a strong jawline, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips, conveying a youthful, idealized martial character. The cheek guards of the helmet frame the face, with locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's brim. The portrait fills the flan, set against a plain, unlettered field, and exhibits the confident draftsmanship characteristic of late Hellenistic Phrygian civic coinage.
