Reverse description Poseidon (or Zeus) stands nude in the field, facing slightly left, holding a long trident upright in his right hand and extending his left arm outward. The deity is rendered in a vigorous, athletic pose typical of Hellenistic divine imagery. To the lower right, the Boeotian shield symbol and a monogram or control mark (delta) appear in the field. The retrograde Greek legend ΒΟΙΩΤΩΝ runs vertically along the left side of the design.
