| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-early classical style with short, wavy hair bound by a tainia (fillet) across the brow. The locks are arranged in neat, naturalistic waves above the ear, with a characteristic ringlet curling forward at the temple. The youthful, idealised features display a strong profile with a well-defined nose and chin, filling the flan with confident artistic authority. No legend appears in the field. |

The ethnic legend of Pordosilene is inscribed in archaic Greek characters divided between the left and right sides of the incuse field, flanking the lyre device. |
