The horse is depicted in full gallop, its legs extended in dynamic motion. A monogram appears in the left field behind the rider. The Greek civic legend ΚΙΒΥΡΑΤΩΝ, with the magistrate names ΜΕΜΕ and ΙΕΡΩΝ, is distributed in the field, identifying this issue as a civic coinage of Kibyra.
