| Obverse description | Bare male head facing right, wearing a crested Attic-style helmet with cheekguards and a voluted crest, the hair rendered in soft waves beneath the brim. The portrait is executed in a refined Hellenistic style, with well-modelled facial features visible in profile. The entire design is set within a prominent encircling laurel wreath, the individual leaves and berries rendered in high relief against the flat field. |

| Reverse description | A fully armed cavalryman, helmeted and wearing a cuirass, charges to the right on horseback, brandishing a long spear in his raised right hand and carrying a round shield on his left arm. The horse is depicted in full gallop, its legs extended in dynamic motion. A monogram appears in the left field behind the rider. The Greek civic legend ΚΙΒΥΡΑΤΩΝ, with the magistrate names ΜΕΜΕ and ΙΕΡΩΝ, is distributed in the field, identifying this issue as a civic coinage of Kibyra. |
