Obverse description Bare head of a female deity facing right, rendered in the Greco-Persian style with a distinctly oriental coiffure comprising elaborately layered and striated hair bound at the nape. The facial features are finely modelled in relief, with a pronounced profile characteristic of late Achaemenid-period Philistian coinage. The field is otherwise plain, with no legend or additional devices.
