| Obverse description | Bust of a female head facing left, her hair fully enclosed within a finely rendered sakkos (hair-net), depicted in a naturalistic yet archaic Greek style. The facial features are rendered with delicate modeling, showing a straight profile with a well-defined jaw and subtly parted lips. The sakkos is decorated with a distinctive crosshatch lattice pattern, characteristic of the coinage of Damastion. The neck is bare, and the truncation is plain. The field is smooth and unlettered. |

| Reverse description | A schematic representation of a portable silver ingot of double-axe or 'astragalos' form occupies the central field, rendered with concave sides and projecting terminals at top and bottom. A kerykeion (caduceus) is incuse within the body of the ingot, referencing the mercantile and monetary significance of Damastion as a silver-producing center. The ethnic legend ΔΑΜΑΣΤΙΝΩΝ ('of the Damastitans') is inscribed in archaic Greek characters partially surrounding the ingot, distributed across the field. The design directly alludes to the city's renowned silver mining and smelting industry in the Illyrian hinterland. |
