| Obverse description | Archaic janiform female head facing outward, formed by two conjoined profiles turned away from one another, each adorned with a pendant earring, beaded necklace, and diadem; the hair is centrally parted above the forehead in the characteristic Archaic manner. The effigy is rendered in the austere frontal-archaic style associated with early fifth-century Mysian coinage, displaying the rigid, stylised modelling typical of the period. The field is bordered by a ring of beads, framing the composition within the broadly circular flan. |
