| Obverse description | Facing head of the god Apollo rendered in three-quarter view, depicted with flowing hair swept back from the forehead and cascading in loose waves around the face, executed in a bold high-relief Hellenistic style characteristic of Carian civic coinage. The facial features are finely modeled with almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and slightly parted lips, conveying a serene divine expression. The hair is adorned with what appears to be a laurel wreath or fillet, and the neck is visible below the chin. No legend is present on the obverse field. The irregular flan edges are typical of hammered silver coinage of the period. |
