Obverse description Facing head of Helios in three-quarter view turned slightly to left, rendered in high relief with flowing, wind-swept hair radiating outward in the manner characteristic of solar deity iconography. The face displays finely modeled features including clearly defined eyes, nose, and lips, with wavy locks framing the visage. The effigy is set within a beaded or dentilated border following the irregular flan. The artistic style reflects the regional Carian adaptation of Rhodian coin types prevalent in the mid-fourth century BC.
