Reverse description Bull's head facing full-front in high relief, with prominent horns, large almond-shaped eyes, and a broad muzzle rendered in the archaic style. A small floral or plant symbol, possibly a grain stalk or flower, is visible to the right of the bull's head within the incuse square field. A dotted border frames the upper portion of the design. The incuse square format is typical of early Greek coinage of the Aeginetic standard struck in Caria during the late Archaic period. The abbreviation XEP for Chersonesos appears as the civic ethnic.
