Reverse description The forepart of a prancing horse facing right is depicted within a rectangular incuse punch bordered by a dotted inner frame, with a plain horizontal line across the upper field. An Aramaic inscription appears to the left of the horse's head. A decorative symbol, possibly a rosette or cross, is visible in the lower right of the incuse. The design closely follows Philisto-Arabian coinage conventions of the late fifth to mid-fourth century BC.
