| Reverse description | A kantharos (wine cup) shown in profile, flanked above by the Greek letters Σ-YA, the ethnic abbreviation for Syangela. To the left of the kantharos hangs an inverted bunch of grapes on a vine with a leaf, referencing the Dionysiac iconographic program of the series. The entire design is set within a shallow incuse square with distinctly rounded corners, a hallmark of this regional coinage type. |

| Additional information |
Syangela was a small Carian settlement near Halicarnassus whose coinage is poorly documented and survives in frustratingly small numbers. The city's independent issues fall within the broader florescence of Carian civic coinage in the fourth century, a period when dozens of minor poleis briefly asserted monetary autonomy before absorption into larger regional power structures — first Persian satrapal authority, then Macedonian. Very few specimens are recorded, and auction appearances remain rare enough that establishing die linkages across the series has not been possible with confidence.
