| Beschrijving voorzijde | Boeotian shield rendered in high relief, depicted facing, with the characteristic curved cutouts on either side of the central boss. A horizontal letter tau (T) is visible facing inward within one of the lateral openings of the shield. The shield's convex central boss dominates the field, with the rimmed edge and side cutouts rendered with confident die work characteristic of early Boeotian federal coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Deep square incuse punch divided into four triangular sections by a raised Maltese cross pattern in relief, creating alternating raised and recessed compartments. The letter tau (T) appears incuse in two of the opposing diagonal sections. This mill-sail or windmill incuse type is characteristic of early Boeotian city coinage and reflects the archaic punch technique used throughout the region in the early fifth century BC. |
