Obverse description Archaic janiform female head depicted in full face, presenting two conjoined busts facing outward in opposite directions; each effigy adorned with a diadem, pendant earrings, and beaded necklace, with hair parted centrally at the forehead in the characteristic Archaic Greek style. The flan is bordered by a ring of dots. The janiform type is associated with the local cult imagery of Lampsakos and reflects the distinctive Archaic artistic convention of frontality and stylized facial features.
