Reverse description A bold Latin cross at centre, its four arms terminating in fleurs-de-lis, the whole set within a raised quatrefoil formed by four lobed arcs, each lobe adorned with a fleur-de-lis motif, creating a lilied quatrefoil frame. Small decorative elements fill the spandrels between the arms of the cross and the inner curve of the quatrefoil. The surrounding Latin legend, separated by stops, reads SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM, a pious invocation meaning 'Blessed be the name of the Lord', within a beaded outer circle and an irregular hammered border.
