Reverse description Three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a 2-1 formation fill the central field, symbolising the royal arms of France. The circular legend, commencing at 12 o'clock, reads DOVBLE TOVRNOIS followed by a fleur-de-lis privy mark and the date, in various die combinations. The design is enclosed within a smooth inner circle with a beaded or toothed outer border.
