| Reverse description | Three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a triangular formation occupy the central field, enclosed within an inner circle of beads. The legend, commencing at 12 o'clock, runs clockwise around the inner circle and includes the date 1638. The mint mark H for La Rochelle appears in the legend or exergual area. The overall design follows the standard Double Tournois reverse type of Louis XIII. |
