Obverse description Right-facing laureate bust of Henri IV, depicted with a long beard and cuirassed shoulders, with a flat neckline. The portrait is rendered in the late Renaissance style characteristic of early Bourbon royal coinage. The legend commences at 6 o'clock and runs clockwise around the effigy within an inner circle of approximately 13 mm diameter.
