Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Postumus facing right, wearing a radiate crown with prominent spikes, the shoulders adorned with paludamentum and armor details typical of the Gallic imperial coinage. The imperial effigy is rendered in bold relief with a strong, authoritative profile. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP C M CASS LAT POSTVMVS P F AVG, distributed around the bust within a beaded border. The flan is broad and irregular, consistent with hammered double sestertius production at the Lugdunum mint.
