Reverse description Hammered reverse displaying a multi-line Arabic script legend within a rectangular cartouche surrounded by a dotted border. The field contains the Datia mint mark along with the state designation and a Regnal Year (Ry) date expressed in the local calendar. The inscription is boldly struck though slightly off-center, consistent with hand-struck coinage of the Datia princely state under Devi Singh. Decorative floral or foliate elements may appear in the margins, filling the irregular coin flan.
