Obverse description Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of the usurper Procopius, adorned with a pearl diadem, rendered in the late Roman imperial portrait style. The emperor's effigy is depicted with considerable detail in the paludamentum and cuirass, conveying military authority. The surrounding field bears the Latin imperial legend divided across the flan. The portrait occupies a large portion of the coin's face, typical of the mid-fourth century aesthetic. Surface retains areas of original green patina consistent with bronze preservation.
