| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the quartered heraldic arms of Henri de la Tour d'Auvergne, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield displays the combined bearings of the House of La Tour d'Auvergne and associated lordships, with finely engraved detailing. Flanking the crowned shield at left and right are crowned initial letters H, the monogram of the issuing prince. A continuous Latin legend in raised relief runs along the outer border, separated from the central device by a beaded inner circle. |
