| Obverse description | Central field bearing a Tibetan inscription rendered in cursive Tibetan script, enclosed within a dotted inner circle. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered Golden Horde silver coinage, with the legend partially visible toward the periphery. The script reflects the Mongol administration's use of Tibetan as a prestige or ceremonial script during the reign of Khan Toqta. The overall die work is characteristic of the Ukek mint workshop, with visible die wear and a slightly off-center strike. |
