| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bust of Ardashir I facing right, wearing a diadem of type R and a close-fitting headdress surmounted by a korymbos without earflaps. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic early Sasanian hammered style with bold, high relief. A Pahlavi legend in Inscriptional script encircles the bust, reading: mzdysn bgy 'rthštr MRK'n MRK' 'yr'n MNW ctry MN yzd', translating as 'The Mazda-worshipping lord Ardashir, King of Kings of Iran, whose lineage is from the gods.' |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A fire altar with a single flame (flames type 1) occupies the centre of the reverse field, adorned with diadems of type R hanging from its sides, a hallmark of early Sasanian royal symbolism. Flanking Pahlavi inscriptions appear to the left of the altar: NWR' ZY and 'rthštr, identifying the sacred fire and associating it with Ardashir I. The composition is characteristically austere and hieratic, emphasising the dynastic and religious significance of the Zoroastrian fire cult. |
