| Obverse description | Half-length frontal effigy of Bishop Adhemar of Monteil, turned to the right, vested in episcopal vestments and wearing a mitre. The bishop holds a crozier in his left hand while his right hand is raised in the gesture of benediction. The figure is rendered in the stylized Gothic manner typical of 14th-century ecclesiastical coinage. The legend encircles the central device within a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | A tall pastoral crozier is depicted vertically, dividing the reverse field and bisecting the circular legend into upper and lower portions. The crozier is flanked on either side by ornate crosses, each elaborately rendered in the Gothic decorative style characteristic of Lorraine ecclesiastical coinage of the mid-14th century. The overall composition is symmetrical, with the legend distributed around the periphery within a beaded border. |
