Reverse description A radiant seated figure, identified as a saint with a halo of rays emanating from the head, is depicted enthroned upon clouds in a dynamic Baroque composition occupying the central field. The figure holds a large key in the left hand and a processional cross or standard in the right, attributes closely associated with Saint Peter. To the right, a classical architectural structure, likely a tempietto or church facade, is visible in the middle ground, referencing the spiritual authority of Rome. The Latin legend AVXILIVM·DE·SANCTO, meaning 'Help from the Saint', arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1775 inscribed vertically along the right margin. The reeded border encloses the entire composition, which displays the confident figural modelling typical of late eighteenth-century papal coinage.
