| Reverse description | Dynamic high-relief scene depicting Moses parting the Red Sea, rendered in a detailed engraved style. Moses stands prominently to the right, robed and raising his staff heavenward, while towering walls of turbulent water rise on either side. A multitude of figures representing the Israelites are shown crossing the parted seabed in the middle ground and foreground, with additional figures observing from rocky outcroppings in the lower field. The legend PARTING THE RED SEA arcs along the upper border, with the date 2025 inscribed in the lower exergue. |

Niue has operated as a prolific licensing vehicle for the New Zealand Mint since the early 2000s, issuing commemorative and novelty coinage under its sovereignty while having essentially no domestic coin-using economy of its own. The arrangement is entirely legal but makes Niue's name on a coin a commercial packaging decision rather than a monetary one.
Copper-nickel for a 2025 commemorative is an unusual choice — most collector-targeted issues from this program run in silver. Budget-tier entry point for a series, most likely.
