| 正面描述 | Helmeted head of Athena facing right in high relief, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back to reveal the face, adorned with a coiled serpent on the bowl and a palmette above the visor. The goddess's hair flows in tight ringlets beneath the helmet, framing her finely rendered facial features in a naturalistic Hellenistic style. The cheek-guards of the helmet are raised, and traces of a decorative element appear on the neckguard. The flan edge is slightly irregular, characteristic of the hammered technique employed at the Aegae mint. |

| 背面描述 | Nike, the goddess of victory, standing left in flowing chiton, extending a wreath in her outstretched right hand and holding a stylis (naval standard) in her left. In the left field, a male athlete in motion leaping leftward is depicted as a subsidiary symbol. A monogram appears below the left wing of Nike. The royal legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is inscribed to the right of the figure, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander. The composition is rendered with elegant detail typical of the finest Macedonian gold coinage of the late 4th century BC. |
