Obverse description Central field bearing the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Ibrahim I, rendered in the characteristic Ottoman calligraphic style with sweeping curved strokes, ascending vertical shafts, and looped lower elements. The tughra dominates the flan and is executed in raised relief typical of hammered Ottoman coinage. The irregular flan edge is consistent with hand-struck production of the period.

Reverse description Multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic inscription filling the field, recording the mint name and the AH regnal date. A horizontal dividing line separates the upper and lower inscription registers. The legends are struck in raised relief on an irregular hammered flan, with the date 1049 AH (corresponding to 1640 AD) prominently rendered in Arabic numerals.
