| Obverse description | Central field bearing the elaborate tughra (imperial monogram) of Sultan Ibrahim I, rendered in the characteristic Ottoman calligraphic style with sweeping curved strokes, ascending vertical shafts, and looped lower elements. The tughra dominates the flan and is executed in raised relief typical of hammered Ottoman coinage. The irregular flan edge is consistent with hand-struck production of the period. |
