正面描述 Struck in the hammered tradition on an irregular flan, the obverse displays the Duwa tamgha countermark prominently applied over the original host coin's surface. The countermark, characteristic of the Chagatai Khanate under Khan Duwa (r. 1282–1307), appears as a distinctive dynastic symbol struck into the field. Underlying Arabic legends from the original host coin remain partially visible beneath and around the countermark impression. The flan shows typical irregular edges and surface irregularities consistent with medieval Central Asian silver dirhams. The overall strike is bold despite the worn and irregular planchet.

背面描述 The reverse of this hammered silver dirham displays fragmented Arabic inscriptions characteristic of Ilkhanid or regional Central Asian coinage serving as the host flan, partially obscured by the applied Duwa tamgha countermark on the opposite face. Remnants of the original mint legends and formulaic religious text are discernible in the field, though heavily worn and partially obliterated. The strike is typical of the rough, hand-hammered technique common to thirteenth and fourteenth-century Central Asian silver issues. The flan is noticeably irregular in shape with ragged edges. Surface wear is consistent with extensive circulation prior to countermarking.
