| Reverse description | Reverse field filled with a multi-line Arabic inscription in horizontal registers, recording the mint name Otrar (أُترار) and the AH regnal year. The text is struck in a bold, angular script consistent with Chagatai chancellery practice of the early 8th century AH. The flan edges are irregular and clipped, characteristic of the small hammered dirhams of this series. Some crowding of letters is visible toward the margins due to the limited flan size. |
