| Reverse description | Central field bearing a three-line Arabic legend reading 'Duriba / bi-al-Ribat / 1284', recording the mint name Rabat al-Fath and the Hijri year of issue. The numerals '284' of the date are prominently rendered in large, clearly legible figures occupying the lower portion of the legend, a hallmark of the second standard dirham type. A decorative wavy or foliate ornament borders the right side of the inscription. The flan is irregular in outline, characteristic of hand-struck Moroccan silver of this period. A piercing hole is visible near the left edge of the flan. |
