Reverse description Arabic mint legend arranged in two registers within a plain linear cartouche divided by a horizontal bar, reading 'ضرب بمراكش' (Struck in Marrakesh). Flanking foliate or vegetal scroll devices fill portions of the field to either side of the central inscription panel, a decorative convention typical of Moroccan hammered dirhams of the Alaoui period. The flan is irregular and shows uneven strike distribution across the surface, with a small post-mint suspension hole visible near the lower field. The overall workmanship reflects the hand-production methods of the Marrakesh mint in the late 19th century.
