| Obverse description | Central field bears the Arabic religious inscription 'Ahad' (meaning 'The One, The Unique' — a divine epithet of God), rendered twice in bold Maghribi script within a plain inner circle. The design is enclosed by a serrated or toothed border ring, with a floral or ornamental device visible at the base of the inner field. The flan is irregular in shape, characteristic of hammered coinage of the Alaoui Sharifian dynasty under Sultan Sidi Mohammed III. |
