| Beschrijving keerzijde | Hammered silver flan of irregular polygonal form with a pronounced beaded border encircling the field. The central area displays a bold Arabic religious legend in Maghrebi script reading 'Ahad Ahad' (He is One, He is One), a declaration of divine unity, accompanied by the Hijri date 1190. Ornamental pellet clusters are distributed symmetrically within the field, flanking the inscription in the characteristic style of Moroccan Alaoui dirhams. The design is entirely epigraphic, consistent with Islamic numismatic tradition, with no portraiture or figurative elements. |
