The legends, struck in a bold but somewhat crude Naskh-style script, contain the name and titles of the ruler Qaidu bin Kashin. The flat, unbordered field shows typical characteristics of Chagatai Khanate coinage, with weak areas and die shifts consistent with hand-struck production.
