The face is depicted with simplified features, flanked by pellet groupings — a single pellet to the left and a cluster of five pellets arranged in a quincunx pattern to the right. Radiating lines or feather-like strokes extend outward from the central device, suggesting a headdress or solar/stellar surround. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, typical of hammered production at the Bulghar mint during this period. No legend or inscription appears on this side. |
