Obverse description Anepigraphic design featuring a stylized frontal face or mask motif occupying the central field, rendered in a schematic, abstract manner characteristic of the ornamental Bulghar type. The face is depicted with simplified features, flanked by pellet groupings — a single pellet to the left and a cluster of five pellets arranged in a quincunx pattern to the right. Radiating lines or feather-like strokes extend outward from the central device, suggesting a headdress or solar/stellar surround. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, typical of hammered production at the Bulghar mint during this period. No legend or inscription appears on this side.

Reverse description Anepigraphic reverse displaying a large, boldly struck crescent or lunate device dominating the central field, rendered in a highly stylized and schematic fashion. Within or adjacent to the crescent, a secondary abstract element — possibly a second crescent or a curved ornamental motif — is visible. The surrounding field bears faint radiating or foliate strokes extending toward the irregular flan edge. Pellet ornaments appear in the upper field. The design is entirely decorative and carries no inscription, consistent with the 'ornamental type' classification of Golden Horde dirhams struck at Bulghar in the late 13th to early 14th century.
