Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged horizontally across the field in bold Naskhi script, conveying the ruler's titles and name. The central legend occupies the majority of the field in three to four registers, with additional text filling the lower portion. A circular marginal legend in Arabic script runs along the inner border, partially obscured by the irregular edge of the flan. The inscription style is characteristic of Zengid copper coinage from Mosul, with broad, deeply struck letters exhibiting typical early 13th-century calligraphic conventions.
