| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged within an angular geometric frame, characteristic of the Moroccan Alaoui hammered dirham tradition. The inscription is executed in a bold, somewhat rustic calligraphic hand consistent with hand-struck coinage of the period.
