背面描述	Irregular hammered silver flan featuring a bold central Arabic legend in Maghrebi script arranged in two registers divided by a horizontal bar, reading 'Year 1291' (عام ١٢٩١), corresponding to AH 1291 (AD 1874). The Hijri date numerals are clearly rendered in the lower register beneath the dividing line, while the word 'year' (عام) appears above. The flan exhibits the characteristic irregularity of hand-hammered Moroccan dirhams of the late Alaoui period. A square attachment lug with a pierced hole is present at the top of the coin, indicating the piece was later mounted, likely as a piece of jewelry or amulet.

附加信息	Moulay al-Hasan I came to the throne in 1873 and spent much of his reign on near-constant military campaigns — the so-called harka expeditions — moving his court and treasury across the country to reassert Makhzen authority over restive tribes. The Fes mint was the senior monetary establishment of the Sharifian empire, and its output under his early reign reflects the administrative consolidation he was pushing hard to achieve. This dirham dates to his first full year on the throne.
