| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic religious and royal inscription in flowing Maghribi script, identifying the issuing authority and the denomination. The legend is arranged in several lines filling the coin's face, framed by a beaded inner border running along the coin's periphery. The calligraphic style is characteristic of Sharifian Moroccan coinage of the late 19th century. No imagery or figural elements are present, in accordance with Islamic numismatic tradition. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays a prominent Hijri date numeral — here for example 1310 — rendered in large Western-style (European) digits at the centre of the field, enclosed within a curved cartouche formed by the surrounding Arabic inscription. Multi-line Arabic legends in Maghribi script surround the date above and below, referencing the mint and denomination. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The combination of Arabic script and European-style numerals is a distinctive feature of this Paris-struck Moroccan series. |
