Obverse description Irregular, roughly oval silver flan struck by hand, displaying the Arabic mint name legend in the central field. The inscription reads 'Rabat al-Fath' in stylised Arabic script, arranged across the face of the coin in two lines. The surfaces are characteristically uneven and lightly striated, consistent with the hammered production technique employed at the Rabat al-Fath mint during the reign of Sultan Moulay Abd al-Rahman. The field is flat and unpretentious, devoid of any decorative border or floral ornament, reflecting the austere typology of this fifth standard issue.
