Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in angular Naskh script, arranged in horizontal registers filling the flan. The legend proclaims the Sultan's titles and names, framed by a linear border. The hammered fabric produces a characteristically irregular flan with slight weakness at the periphery. Decorative ornaments or pellets appear in the marginal areas separating the central text field from the border. The overall style is typical of Seljuk of Rum silver coinage of the later thirteenth century.

Reverse description Central field features the word 'Allah' (الله) in bold stylised Arabic script enclosed within a circular cartouche or inner ring. Surrounding this central medallion is a circular Arabic marginal legend running along the inner margin, giving the mint name, date, or additional religious formula. A further outer border frames the entire design. The hammered technique produces a slightly uneven surface typical of Anatolian Seljuk dirhams of this period.
