The central inscription is surrounded by a marginal legend running within a double circular border of pellets and lines. The flan is irregularly shaped and slightly broader than the die, typical of hammered Idrisid silver dirhams struck at Walilli (Volubilis). The overall style closely follows Abbasid dirham typology adapted for Idrisid dynastic use. |
