Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field bears the Shahada (Islamic profession of faith) in three lines of bold Arabic Naskh script: 'There is no deity but Allah, the One; there is no partner to Him; Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.' The inscription is enclosed within a double circular border, with a marginal legend containing the Quranic verse III:26 (Al Imran) running continuously around the outer band. The overall style is typical of Ilkhanid hammered silver coinage, with the field inscription densely arranged and the marginal text partially visible due to the irregular flan.
